A few live horses were visible on the Kegley Ridge farm the day after authorities discovered 31 dead ones. This animal was obviously thin. The Rowan County Sheriff's Office, SPCA and the Department of Agriculture have been working this case since Tuesday. Charges have already been filed against the property owner. Don Miller said he was not aware of the situation.
