Emergency crews could not have saved Josh Ferguson, 30, of 250 Conn Rd., Morehead, according to Rowan County Coroner John Northcutt. Ferguson died shortly after a logging accident, when a tree fell on him. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday.
