Second set of remains confirmed as female

May 9, 2012 —   On Wednesday, May 9, Kentucky State Police Morehead received additional information on the skeletal remains found in Fleming County.

  The State Medical Examiner’s office has confirmed that the second set of remains is believed to be of a Hispanic female between 17-25 years of age, 5 foot tall or less. 

  Further analysis revealed that the additional remains are believed to be from a male, approximately the same age as the female, possibly older. The male subject is believed to be approximately 5’5” and either Hispanic or Anglo. Both sets of remains are believed to have been in the area from 4-36 months.
