Former MSU student dies after collapsing

May 19, 2012 — Former Morehead State University student and Aramark employee, Justin Story, 28, passed away at UK Medical Center early this morning.

     Story was allegedly in Morehead Wednesday visiting family and collapsed at 8 p.m. while playing basketball at the Don Greenhill City Park.

     Rowan County EMS said they were in the park patrolling league games and responded to the call within 30 seconds. Morehead Fire Department assisted with the cardiac arrest call.

     Story was transported to St. Claire Regional Medical Center and later airlifted to UK Medical Center in Lexington.

     UK Medical Center could not confirm the cause of death.

     Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville will be handling funeral arrangements.

    Holbrook was indicted the same day by an Elliott County grand jury in the April 2011 death of Paul Dillon (Nemo) Bryant, 19, also of Olive Hill.

         Casey R. Shay, 26, of Morehead, was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with murder after police found the body of his girlfriend, Cassandra (Cassie) Owens, 21, in the mobile home they shared in East Morehead with their three-year-old daughter.
