The Morehead Fire Department responded to a two-story apartment fire at 168 East Main Street this afternoon. Haldeman-Hayes Crossing, Rowan County EMS, and the MPD also responded to the fire to back up the MFD. Preliminary reports say that the building was evacuated safely.
