Lester Ramey
Lester Ramey, 84, Shelby, Ohio died Monday, June 22, 2009 in MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital.
Born January 12, 1925 in Morehead, to Howard and Ida (Foster) Ramey, he grew up in Shiloh, Ohio moving to Shelby 58 years ago. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in the 1264th Engineer Combat Battalion during WWII.
Survivors include a sister, Lou Crager of Morehead.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend S.T. Adkins will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
