Frankie Jo Smith

N.C. - Mrs. Frankie Jo Charles Smith, 53, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
She was born January 26,1956 in Frenchburg, KY.
Mrs. Smith attended Rowan County High School in Morehead, KY and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.
Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Ken Smith; her mother, Janet Lambert of Salt Lick, KY; and three half siblings, Janny Freeman of Dallas, TX, Paul Shearer of Greenville, South Carolina and Misty Mack of Hicksville, Ohio.
A Memorial Service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Charles Carver officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Murl Wagoner
1951-2009
TEXAS - Murl Wagoner, 58, of Houston, Texas, (formerly of Morehead, KY) died Monday, December 21 at home in the presence of her loving family.
Born on April 1, 1951 in Clearfield, KY, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Mandy Wagoner of Morehead, KY and the sister of the late Glenna Wagoner-Marple.
She moved to Houston, Texas during the 1970s, and was later joined by her daughter.
She worked for many years for the State of Texas. She enjoyed collecting glass figurines, gardening, crafts, caring for animals and spending time with her family, including her cats, birds, and beloved dog Yogi.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her daughter, Shawna Wagoner of Houston, Texas (formerly of Morehead, KY) her son in-law Danny Brown of Houston, Texas, her brothers, Rex Wagoner of Morehead, KY, Roger Wagoner of Springfield, OH, her sister Brooks Morehouse of Cincinnati, OH, her nephews Mike Jones and Pat Jones of Morehead, KY her very special nephews, Juergen “Tater” Wagoner, Jake Wagoner, Sean Wagoner and many dear friends.
