The editor:
Obama’s stimulus package: It looks like Congress and the House sure have a big thing going, since the House and Congress changed parties two years ago. Our economy has done nothing but get worse. And all that money they are talking about spending. Let’s hope the other party has the sense not to give them all that money at one time for they will blow it. You can bet on that. They should get the money as needed to pay for whatever the project is when it is ready to be used. Then they might know where it is going to be used.
As we know, when sticky fingers get hold of that much money it has a way of getting lost in the shuffle.
Just like money has disappeared many times before and we don’t need this to happen again.
Just hope they keep a tight reign on it.
