Something is troubling me. It could be that we are headed towards a (sshhhh) recession. Or it could be the unnecessary war in Iraq. Then again, it could be that gasoline is $200.00 a gallon, or the fact that industry is polluting our air, our water, and our food.
So, who are you going to vote for? Two months ago, I’d have said, “I don’t know.” Now, I care so much more about politics than I ever thought I would. When President Clinton came to Morehead, I not only got to see him and hear his speech, I got to meet him briefly. During the speech, he spoke of Hillary’s plan to change student loans, so that they will be easier to pay off over an extended amount of time, making it possible for people like me to get a higher education. She has a plan to make us energy independent, so that we will not have to rely so completely on foreign oil companies. If we don’t have to fight for the oil, we can BRING OUR TROOPS HOME! She wants to conserve our natural resources, not destroy them.
We need a change, if we are to continue to be the most powerful and wonderful country in the world. We need someone who values every person, not just one gender, one race, or one tax bracket. We need a President that has political savvy, a love of country, and a conscience. We need Hillary Clinton.
Hillary will fight for middle class strength, energy independence, universal healthcare and civil rights. She fights for veterans, women, the sick, and the poor.
How can we elect anyone else?
