Our newspaper cover sheets are filled with people-behavior indicating no respect for self or our community.
Too little is noted for people who unite and work to make this community very special. Health conditions have made us extremely aware of the beauty of this relationship. People open restaurant and other doors and share a warm smile. They use quantities of time to visit repeatedly. They bring prepared food and ask how they might help. Multiples of churches keep you in their prayers. Numbers of qualified people and clubs regularly donate time and care to the community. For example, did you know that Mr. Gerald McDaniel has volunteered twenty-five years to helping the Veterans Assoc.? That is one of many. Morehead is indeed a very special community in which to reside.
