Don’t raid Social Security

Feb. 24, 2012 — The editor:

I would like to talk with the seniors that read this newspaper. I suppose you know by now that two years of our Social Security cost of living raise was taken from us by our president without a good reason. So it is time to do something about it. If he gets reelected he will take it again come January 2013, for nobody challenged him that we worked 30 to 40 years to receive Social Security benefits. He had no right to do that. It just might be against the Constitution for him to steal our money when he is spending money like it grows on those trees in Washington, DC.
