Sheriff’s office seeking information on armed robbery

Sept. 10, 2012 —       The Rowan County sheriff’s office is seeking information about suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred Friday at 1:30 p.m.

      The victim, Keith Hoose, told deputies that while walking west on US 60 East, two black men driving a yellow Camaro with Alabama plates pulled up next to him, pointed a gun at him and demanded he give them all of the money he had.

      Hoose allegedly gave them his wallet that contained an undisclosed amount of cash.

      The two men drove away without injuring Hoose.

      The victim said he walked to the sheriff’s office immediately following the incident.
