The field has been set, minus write-ins, for the 2012 general election on Nov. 6.
Aug. 14 at 4 p.m. was the filing deadline.
No candidates have filed for the Lakeview Heights City Commission.
Four seats are to be filled for two-year terms.
Oct. 26 is the last day for candidates to file a declaration of intent as a write-in candidate.
Four candidates have filed for four-year terms on the Rowan County Board of Education. Richard (Rick) Whelan is running in District 2, Jennifer Blair Anderson in District 3 and Brian Wallace and Brenda Stamm in District 4.
Gary Ferguson and Dennis Perry have filed for reelection as Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors.
Morehead City Council's filing deadline was before the May primary.
That race is down to six candidates with the withdrawal of incumbent Bill Patrick.
Appearing on the ballot for the six, two-year terms this fall will be incumbents Jan Bishop, Tom Carew, Beth Ousley, Glen Teager and Bruce Adkins. The sixth candidate is newcomer Carolyn Franzini.
Withdrawing earlier from the Morehead Council ballot were Regina Thompson and Steve Goldberg.
