A male bicyclist was riding at 5295 KY 801 North Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 when a 1985 Chrysler Fifth Avenue car struck his bike, police said. Both the bicyclist Dan Lindsey and driver Clarence Epperheart were traveling south. Epperheart said he was watching an on-coming car when he felt a bump and did not see the cyclist. Lindsey was transported by EMS to St. Claire Regional Medical Center with leg and back injuries and dismissed later that day. The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Trooper Tim Gibbs.
