A Progressive Agriculture Safety Day was held at the Morehead State University farm Friday. Planned activities included demonstrations and discussions on numerous safety-related topics. The event was free to all 4th graders in Rowan County, who were divided into small grops to rotate through the safety sessions listed: ATV Safety, Electrical Safety, Fire Safety, Tractor Safety, Germ Safety, Animal Safety, Water Safety, Gun Safety, Drug Safety, Lawn Mower Safety, weather Safety, Food Safety, Sun Safety, and Knife Safety.
