A two-vehicle accident occurred Tuesday on KY 32 at the JC Wells curve near Wal-Mart in Morehead.
Morehead City Police Patrolman James Sergent arrived on the scene shortly after the collision at 4:27 p.m. Morehead-Rowan County EMS and the Morehead Fire Department also responded to the accident.
Andy Jones of Frenchburg was pulling a 2002 International semi truck into the Wells Lumber Yard on KY 32 when Stephen Mennemeyer’s 1994 Saturn, collided into the truck, according to Sergent.
Mennemeyer was flown by PHI to UK Hospital for injuries he sustained from the collision, Sergent said. Jones had no injuries.
Mennemeyer was sited for probable cause for driving under the influence, Sergent said.
He remains at UK hospital.
The accident remains under investigation by Sergent.
