Olive Hill man dies in Rowan crash

Aug. 31, 2012 — Hubert L. Clark, 69, of Brinegar Road, Olive Hill, was killed Friday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on KY 32 near Morehead.

Rowan County Coroner John Northcutt pronounced him dead of blunt force trauma at 4:45 pm at the scene.

The coroner said Clark apparently lost control of the motorcycle in a curve and left the roadway, striking a rock outcropping.

Clark was riding alone and was not wearing a helmet, according to the coroner. The accident scene is about four miles south of US 60.

The case remains under investigation by Northcutt and Kentucky State Police.
