A female driver was ejected from a vehicle after her car jumped a curve and landed in a Dry Creek resident’s yard Monday morning.
The driver was coming around a curve and lost control of the car. She hit a ditch, over corrected and turned over into the residence of 2639 Dry Creek Road, according to Kentucky State Police Trooper Josh Preece. The emergency call came in at 8:42 a.m.
The occupant, whose name was not known at the time of accident, was ejected from the vehicle. She was found in the front yard of the residence, Preece said.
The extent of the driver’s injuries was not known as press time. She was flown by PHI to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment.
Morehead-Rowan County EMS and the Morehead Fire and Rescue also responded.
The accident remains under investigation by Preece.
