Oct. 30, 2012 — An 18-year-old Owingsville woman died Friday following a one-vehicle accident on US 60 in Bath County, according to police.
Lindsey Riggs was traveling west when her vehicle left the roadway, police said. Riggs’ vehicle then overturned, causing her to be ejected.
She was airlifted to the UK Medical Center in Lexington where she was pronounced dead Friday morning.
The accident remains under investigation by the KSP.
