Two men were indicted by a Rowan County grand jury Jan. 15 for allegedly having items used to make methamphetamine.
Randall M. Bowling, 20, and co-defendant Edward L. Callahan, 20, in separate indictments, were indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine when they allegedly had two or more chemicals or items of equipment for the manufacture of methamphetamine on Dec. 14, 2009.
Bowling also was indicted for possession of marijuana.
An indictment is only a formal charge representing one side of a case and does not establish guilt.
Also indicted were:
• James Dale Carroll, 32, for two counts trafficking in a controlled substance when he allegedly had oxycodone and alprazolam in his possession on March 11, 2008.
• Charles Nelson Ison, 26, for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while license revoked or suspended for driving under the influence, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance/security and being a persistent felony offender on Nov. 14, 2009.
• Todd K. Caudill, 21, for criminal possession of a forged instrument second-degree when he allegedly passed a forged $100 check at 377 Market on Nov. 10, 2009.
Caudill also was indicted for third-degree burglary when he allegedly unlawfully remained in buildings belonging to Tori Earlywine on Dec. 2, 2009.
• John E. Jones, 34, for 20 counts criminal possession of a forged instrument when he allegedly passed 20 checks worth $2,227.29 at various businesses from Oct. 26-Dec. 7, 2009.
Jones also was indicted for being a persistent felony offender.
• Jeremiah J. Johnson, 34, for third-degree burglary when he allegedly unlawfully entered a building belonging to Timothy Thompson with the intent to commit a crime on Nov. 2, 2009.
• Jewell Thornsberry, 60, for first-degree wanton endangerment when she allegedly pointed a gun at Richard and Carol Moore while they were attempting to leave her property on Nov. 5, 2009.
• Cody A. Harper, 21, for first-degree criminal mischief when he allegedly keyed a vehicle belonging to Brian Sheets causing damages estimated at $1,500 on Sept. 10, 2009.
Harper also was indicted for second-degree burglary when he allegedly unlawfully entered the home of Britini Utterback and Rachel McClain and second-degree terroristic threatening when he by way of Internet allegedly threatened to kill Utterback and McClain and rape their dead corpses.
• Myka N. Mills, 19, for second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance when she allegedly trafficked in hydrocodone on Oct. 29, 2008.
• David Allen Jennings, 41, for two counts flagrant nonsupport when he allegedly failed to provide $6,689.96 in child support from Feb. 1, 2000 to Dec. 31, 2009 and $9,680.97 in child support from Oct. 1, 2001 to Dec. 31, 2009.
• Fernando Rosales-Romero, 46, for first-degree wanton endangerment when he allegedly was responsible for the care of his 3-year-old niece and while in his care was extremely intoxicated, had her in a vehicle operated by an intoxicated driver and the child was not in a proper child safety restraint as required by law on Dec. 13, 2009.
Rosales-Romero also was indicted for alcohol intoxication first and second in a public place when he was a passenger in a vehicle that had been detained for various violations and charges and allegedly was intoxicated.
• Daniel D. Muro, 30, a co-defendant with Rosales-Romero, for first-degree wanton endangerment when he allegedly was operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a 3-year-old passenger not in proper safety restraints on Dec. 13, 2009.
Muro also was indicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating a motor vehicle with no operator’s license and failure to use child restraint device in a vehicle.
