Morehead man charged with murder

A man charged with the murder of his brother was arrested in Morehead Tuesday.

Thirty-seven-year-old Bronson Banks of Bratton Loop was arrested at Woodhill Drive after Wolfe County Attorney Steve Johnson issued an arrest warrant, according to police. Kentucky State Police said Banks is being charged with the Aug. 18 slaying of his 39-year-old brother Elson Banks of Campton.

Bronson Banks was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon by KSP Detective Donnie McGraw and lodged in the Rowan County Detention Center. Banks was then transferred to Three Forks Regional Jail in Lee County. Bond is set at $250,000.
