Kentucky State Police Morehead Post 8 is investing a two-car collision that killed a Fleming County man Monday night.
Devin Calhoun, 19, of Wallingford was traveling southbound on KY 57 when he crossed the center line and struck another vehicle, according to police. The other vehicle was a 2000 S10 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Sabino Flores, 26, of Ewing.
“The cause of the incident is still undetermined,” KSP Trooper Jon Veeneman said. The operator of the Dodge pickup crossed the center line and alcohol or drugs were not involved in the accident.”
Flores was taken to Fleming County Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:38 p.m. Monday by Fleming County Coroner Gary Workman.
According to police, an autopsy has been scheduled. The accident is still under investigation by KSP Trooper Eugene Robinson.
