Two men are in the Rowan County Detention Center after law enforcement officials were tipped off to an alleged methamphetamine manufacturing area in Clearfield.
Rowan County Sheriff Deputy Donnie Hall’s investigation led to a search warrant being issued at a Barber Road residence in Clearfield.
Edward L. Callahan, 20, and Randall M. Bowling, 20, both of Clearfield, were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense. Bowling also was charged with possession of marijuana.
Callahan is lodged in the Rowan County Detention Center with no bond, while Bowling’s bond is set at $10,000 cash. Morehead Police Department officers Wes Coldiron and Brad Gillock and Kentucky State Police Trooper Chris Jones assisted Hall in the arrest.
