Two people have been indicted by a Rowan County grand jury for allegedly abusing a male juvenile over the last five years.
James Holbrook, 38, and Lashonda Parson, 41, were indicted Dec. 18 for first-degree criminal abuse when they allegedly hit the boy with objects, sometimes allowing another to hold the boy while the other would physically abuse him from 2004 through April 15.
The charge is punishable by 5-10 years in prison.
An indictment is only a formal charge representing one side of a case and does not establish guilt.
Also indicted were:
• Brian Robinette, 39, for two counts second-degree manslaughter for allegedly killing two motorcyclists, Ronnie Miller and William Walker, while driving intoxicated Aug. 7.
Robinette also was indicted for wanton endangerment when he allegedly operated a motor vehicle while drunk and struck a motorcycle operated by Robert Caskey.
• George W. Bridges III, 18, for terroristic threatening second-degree when he allegedly threatened a 14-year-old student in the classroom with serious physical harm, rape and death on Nov. 23.
• Angel A. Masterson, 36, for theft by unlawful taking when she allegedly created a fake employee on a CPA firm account with the Bath County Ambulance Service and received $53,036.67 through a direct deposit into a checking account belonging to her from May 8 through Aug. 27.
• Willford R. Allen, 24, for theft by unlawful taking when he allegedly took merchandise from Wal-Mart valued less than $500 on Oct. 25.
Allen also was indicted for two counts possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance not in original container when he allegedly had oxycodone and Xanax in his possession.
• Michael Fife, 26, for 14 counts criminal possession of a forged instrument second-degree when he allegedly cashed $557.56 in forged checks at Pizza Hut and Papa Johns from Aug. 24 through Oct. 21.
Fife also was indicted for being a persistent felony offender.
• Aaron Joseph Byrd, 30, for criminal possession of a forged instrument second-degree when he allegedly cashed a $85 forged check at Fin, Fur and Feather on Nov. 1.
• Nicholas Eldridge, 30, for promoting contraband first-degree when he allegedly had marijuana at the Rowan County Detention Center on Aug. 2.
Eldridge also was indicted for being a persistent felony offender.
• Carin N. Fiscarelli, 27, for possession of a controlled substance when she allegedly had oxycodone in her possession on Aug. 7.
Fiscarelli also was indicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence and tampering with physical evidence when she allegedly concealed 76 oxycodone on herself and discarded them in an officer’s cruiser.
• Robert C. Poe, 62, for four counts sexual abuse first-degree when he allegedly subjected a female less than 12 years old to sexual contact on Feb. 7.
• Eric T. Wilson, 20, for three counts criminal possession of a forged instrument when he allegedly had three checks totaling $320 bearing the forged signature of Chris Wilson on Oct. 1-2.
• Tiffany Kilgore, 35, for two counts criminal possession of a forged instrument when she allegedly had two forged checks totaling $273.70 drawn on the account of Gayle Cline on Oct. 2 and Oct. 5.
Kilgore also was indicted for theft of identity when she allegedly used the name of Gayle Cline, her address, telephone number, identity and signature to forge a check at Salon and Day Spa of Morehead on Oct. 2.
• Colby Green, 19, for possession of a controlled substance first-degree when he allegedly had psilocin/psilocybin “magic mushroom” in his possession on July 16.
Green also was indicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
• David Scott Coldiron, 22, for possession of a controlled substance first-degree when he allegedly had oxycodone in his possession on Nov. 18.
• Emily J. Hansen, 22, for criminal possession of a forged instrument second-degree when she allegedly had a $75 forged check bearing the signature of Sarah Gray and passed at the B.P. Station on June 20.
• Bonita Marlee Jessee, 47, for trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree when she allegedly trafficked in oxycodone on Sept. 18.
Jessee also was indicted for possession of a controlled substance not in original container and possession of a controlled substance third-degree.
• Christina A. Maze, 30, for two counts possession of a controlled substance first and third-degree when she allegedly had oxycodone and Alprazolam in her possession on July 1.
• Jeffery Porter, 37, for theft by unlawful taking when he allegedly had a Walther PPK 32-caliber firearm belonging to Michael S. Adkins valued at $3,900 on Sept. 20.
Porter also was indicted for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property, firearm, and being a persistent felony offender.
• Brandon W. Ramey, 24, for robbery second-degree when he allegedly took $199.98 in merchandise from Wal-Mart and used physical force on a loss prevention officer on Nov. 13.
• Michael Paul Ramey, 34, for flagrant nonsupport when he allegedly failed to provide $5,411.30 in child support from May 1, 2005 to Nov. 30, 2009.
• Spencer A. Taylor, 34, for flagrant nonsupport when he allegedly failed to provide $4,102.10 in child support from June 6, 2008 to Nov. 30, 2009.
• Spencer A. Taylor, 34, for escape second-degree when he allegedly escaped from the Rowan County Detention Center when he never returned from work release on Nov. 16.

Morehead woman pleads guilty to incest, sodomy
A Morehead woman pleaded guilty Wednesday in Rowan Circuit Court to five crimes involving the sexual abuse of her young son. Brittany Henson, 22, pleaded guilty to incest, sodomy first degree, promoting a sexual performance by a minor, and possession and distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
