The Morehead Police Department’s investigation of a Dec. 10 burglary of a residence on Old Cranston Road has landed two people in jail.
Adam C. Kinder, 35, of Clearfield and Kevin Kidd, 28, of Salt Lick were arrested for receiving stolen property in connection with the burglary. In the theft, electronic items were taken including a Playstation 3, 19-inch television, 32-inch LCD television, surround sound system, video games and a jar of change.
Police say Michael Taylor White left for work early the morning of Dec. 10 and returned to his residence the same afternoon to find a small windowpane was knocked out of the door of the home.
Both Kinder and Kidd were lodged in the Rowan County Detention Center. Police said the investigation is ongoing for possible other charges in the burglary case.
According to police, the items stolen totaled $3,500. MPD officer Wes Coldiron is in charge of the investigation.
