Oct. 4, 2011 —
Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a call Oct. 3 at 8:56 p.m. from Bath County Dispatch of a single vehicle injury accident on US 60 approximately three miles east of Salt Lick in Bath County.
Christopher Miller, 30,of Denniston was operating a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse westbound on US 60 when police said he lost control of the vehicle.
The Mitsubishi crossed the eastbound lane, exited the left shoulder of the road, traveled across a lawn, struck a mailbox, fence and tree before coming to final rest.
Passenger Scotty D. Conley, 39, of Owingsville was pronounced dead at the scene.
