Oct. 26, 2012 — Two men have been indicted by a special session of the Elliott County grand jury in a 2008 kidnapping and murder.
On Thursday, Oct. 25, Kentucky State Police detectives in Morehead received notice of the indictment against Elige Randolph, 35, and James “Bobby” Eden, 35.
The indictment charges both men with the kidnapping and murder of Robert Boggs and Chris Leadingham in 2008.
On Jan. 2, 2008 Boggs was found at his residence in Elliott County with a single gunshot wound to his head.
On Jan. 4, 2008 Leadingham was found in the Gordon Ford area near Stark Ridge in Elliott County, also with a single gunshot wound to the head.
The KSP, in a joint investigation with Elliott County Sheriff Jimmy Stephens, were able to piece together information to present to the Special Session Grand Jury.
Additional charges and arrests are pending.
Randolph is currently housed at the Marion County Detention Center on unrelated crimes.
Eden is currently housed at the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro, also on unrelated crimes.
