The 8-Under Cave Run Muskies just keep on winning, by beating everyone they run up against. They are filled with 7 and 8-year-olds from the Morehead area that compete on the highest level of youth baseball in the state of Kentucky.
The Muskies won another championship this past Sunday in Mount Sterling, Kentucky moving their record to 36 wins and 5 losses. The Muskies beat Morgan Co. All-Stars 22-4, Jessasmine County All-Stars 9-3, and the Mount Sterling Cyclones 14-1 to take the crown as the Sterling Cyclones Mid-Summer Classic.
Tournament Champions. The Muskies are coached by head coach Scott Hacker, and assistant coaches Allen Ravenscraft, Doug Binion, and Kirk Wilburn. The 8-Under roster includes: Corey Binion, Mason Ravenscraft, Andrew Roberts, Logan Justice, AJ Hacker, Ben Wilburn, Clayton Black, Dalton Brown, Luke Burrows, Shane Taylor, Colton Black, and Ryan Mullins.
