The Morehead State athletic department is teaming up with the local chapter of The Salvation Army to raise funds this Christmas season.
The Morehead State men's and women's tennis teams and the baseball team are volunteering their time and services. Tennis began the collection on Sunday at the women's basketball game, and baseball student-athletes will be serving as 'bellringers" at Monday's women's game. Donations will also be collected before and during Friday night's doubleheader.
Donate when attending either of these events. Bellringers will be outside the AAC before the games and will be collecting funds inside the arena during the games. Eighty percent of the funds collected will remain in Rowan County while 20 percent will be distriubuted statewide.
