Lady Vikings prep for weekend tourney

The Lady Vikings head to the 2009 Republic Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic this weekend. In game one, the gals in green will face off with Mercy Academy at the Rev. Bueter Athletic Center. The Jaguars are 3-1 on their season, coming off a 72-51 victory over Ballard. Game time is set for 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

The winner of the first round contest will advance to a 3:15 p.m. game Sunday with the winner of the Webster County vs. Bullitt East game. Webster and Bullitt East are both 4-0 on their seasons.

If the Lady Vikings fall in the first round, they will face the loser of the Bullitt East/ Webster game on Sunday in the Lexington Catholic Alumni Gym. Tip off for the Consolation game is set for 2:45 p.m.
