KCTM to host official opening Sept. 20

Sept. 19, 2012 —

Morehead State University will hold a special ribboncutting ceremony for the official opening of the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music on Thursday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m.

The event will be held at the Center’s new home, 185. E. First Street (the former location of the Rowan County Public Library).

Musical entertainment will begin the ceremony at 1 p.m. with the ribboncutting to follow at 1:30 p.m.

Tours of the facility will be available starting at 2 p.m.

Raymond McLain, director, along with KCTM staff and videographer David Patrick offers an online tour of the $3.5 million new KCTM.
