Informational sessions for 'Craft Bizarre' announced

Sept. 19, 2012 — The third “Craft Bizarre,” a student-run art and craft sale, will be held Nov. 29-30, in the gallery of Morehead State University’s Claypool-Young Art Building.

Students are encouraged to participate by selling their art and/or crafts.

Informational sessions for potential participants will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, and Tuesday, Oct. 23, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in 111 Claypool-Young.

The sessions will cover pricing, presentation, artist promotion, and popular art and craft for specific audiences, as well as providing necessary paperwork for participating in the event.

The gallery in Claypool-Young provides cultural and educational programming to the MSU community as well as the University’s service region. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment. There is no charge for viewing and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available on Main Street during the day, and on the campus after 5 p.m. weekdays, and all day on weekends.
