Hill's film to premiere at Oceanside Film Festival

Aug. 10, 2012 — Morehead State University’s Jeffrey Hill, associate professor of mass communications, will have his film “Banjo Bill, The Ballad” premiere in California at the Oceanside Film Festival on Saturday, Aug. 18.

Hill will be in attendance at this juried festival to present a “making of” talk following his film’s screening. The film was partially supported by a Creative Productions summer fellowship.

The film has aired on KET’s multicultural program “Kentucky Life” and also has played at The Film Festival of Colorado in Arvada.
