Sept. 25, 2012 — Morehead State University’s Transition Center in the Office of Enrollment Services has announced its fall 2012 Diversity Day, Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration and continental breakfast will be held in the Adorn Doran University Center beginning at 8 a.m. The Welcome Session is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. with a special performance by

MSU’s Black Gospel Ensemble (BGE) following the Academic Department and Student Life Fair.

“Diversity Day gives you and your family the opportunity to explore our beautiful campus as we highlight academic programs, student services and campus involvement opportunities,” said Tashanna R. Rucker, senior enrollment services counselor for diversity. “Throughout the day, you will hear minority student leaders’ testimonies, explore University facilities, speak with University faculty and staff, and discover your unlimited opportunities as a future MSU Eagle.

“Diversity Day also will expose you and your family to MSU’s commitment to recruiting and retaining a diverse and unique student population.”

Seniors applying for admission during the program will receive an application fee waiver. To learn more about Diversity Day and to register visit www.moreheadstate.edu/diversityday.
