July 18, 2012 — Morehead State University’s East Kentucky Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Paintsville will host “Essentials for Starting a Business in Kentucky,” July 31, at 5 p.m.
Have you recently been displaced in the workforce? Have you thought about starting your own business? If so, this workshop will walk you through the essentials of starting a business in Kentucky. It will be held at Paintsville Small Business Development Center, 224 Main Street.
“Small businesses are the engine that drives the American economy,” said Michelle Spriggs, SBDC consultant. “This is an excellent and affordable opportunity for individuals to learn more about entrepreneurship in Kentucky.”
The free workshop is for all participants; however, seating is limited and advance registration is recommended.
Training programs, sponsored or co-sponsored by SBDC, are available to all individuals without regard to race, color, sex, creed or national origin. Special arrangements will be made for those with disabilities if requested in advance.
