June 22, 2012 — Jeffrey Hill, associate professor of mass communication at Morehead State University, will have his newest TV series begin airing on Kentucky Education Television (KET) in July.
The series, called “The Video Vault,” is eight shows with a running time of two hours per show. Each show is a look back at classic Hollywood movies and television shows.
Hill, who produces and hosts the show, created the series with the assistance of students and faculty/staff in the Department of Communication, Media and Leadership Studies.
He gives an introduction to each film and television show before the screening takes place. The first episode of the series includes the 1951 film “Royal Wedding,” starring Fred Astaire and Jane Powell, along with a Bela Lugosi serial from 1939.
It will air on channel KET2, Sunday, July 1, at 3 p.m. and will be rebroadcast on channel KET, Monday, July 8, at 3 a.m.
