Aug. 31, 2012 — Morehead State Public Radio (WMKY 90.3 FM) wants to send a few lucky winners to the 20th annual Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival, Sept 11-15.
Register to win a Tuesday or Wednesday one-day pass ($20 value) or a Saturday pass ($50 value) good for one person during the festival.
More than 40 bands are scheduled to perform this year, including Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out, Larry Sparks, Dr. Ralph Stanley, Lonesome River Band, Don Rigsby, The Rarely Herd, Marty Raybon, Hazel Holler Girls, Sammy Adkins and Sandy Hook Mountain Boys, Dave Evans and Dale Ann Bradley.
Also featured will be country music legend Earl Thomas Conley and award-winning singer/songwriter Jamey Johnson.
The Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival is located on a 1,000 acre farm just off U.S. 60, which offers fishing, camping, ATV and golf cart trails, and a convenience store. Evening fireworks will be showcased daily. Electric and water hook-ups at campsites also are available.

Contest entries by phone, fax or social media (Facebook and Twitter) will not be accepted and a person must be at least 18 to enter. Limit one registration per household. MSPR reserves the right to refuse any contest entries.
The deadline for entries is 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6. The prize drawing will be held during classical music and the winners will be notified by phone on the same day.
Morehead State Public Radio employees and their families, MSPR Community Advisory Board members and associates of MSPR are not eligible for this contest.
