Aug. 24, 2012 — Morehead State University officially welcomed three new Board of Regents members – Wayne M. Martin of Winchester, Todd Q. Thacker of Morehead and Margo A. Hunt of Stanville on Thursday (Aug. 23) at its special meeting.
Paul Goodpaster of Morehead, who was reappointed to a six-year term, along with the three new members were administered the “oath of office” by Beth L. Maze of Owingsville, Chief Circuit Judge for the 21st Judicial District, Division 2.
Also during the work session, the board re-elected Goodpaster of Morehead as vice chair; Carol Johnson, secretary; and Mike Walters, treasurer.
An orientation session was held for the Regents.
The regents’ next quarterly meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 20, at 9 a.m.
