George H. Dillon
1941-2008


MOREHEAD –George H. Dillon, age 67, of Laurel Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, Kentucky.

Born July 13, 1941, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Tommy and Melmie Sloan Dillon.

He is survived by his wife, Monnie Collins Dillon; one brother, Curtis Dillon of Morehead, Kentucky; and two sisters, Janet Crisp of Clearfield, Kentucky, and Allie Collins of Portsmouth, Ohio.

George was a farmer. He enjoyed coon hunting and the outdoors.

Funeral services will be conducted 11a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Trent Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

David Raymond Sallaz Jr.
1964-2008


MOREHEAD – David Raymond Sallaz Jr., age 44, of Hill N Dale Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at his residence.

Born May 31, 1964, in Warren, Ohio, he is the son of the late David Raymond Sallaz, Sr., and Judy Loomis Butler and husband Carl of Morehead, Kentucky.

He is also survived by his wife, Tina Nadene Warren Sallaz, whom he married May 31, 1986; three sons, Richard Dailey of Morehead, Kentucky, Jeremy Michael Haines Sallaz and Daniel Wade Haines Sallaz, both of Remlap, Alabama; and two granddaughters, Morgan Ann Dailey and Zoey Belle Dailey.

Other survivors include five brothers, Stephan Todd Loomis, William Joseph Sallaz, and Robert Brian Sallaz, all of Morehead, Kentucky, Michael Douglas Sallaz of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, and Jeffrey Dean Sallaz of Frenchburg, Kentucky; five stepbrothers, Frankie Butler of Morehead, Kentucky; Jeffrey Butler, Allen Butler, Daniel Butler, and Brian Butler, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and two stepsisters, Melissa Butler of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Linda McKinney of Morehead, Kentucky.

David was a former employee of the Lexington Tree Service and enjoyed drawing and woodworking.

Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Lansford May officiating. Burial was in the Siloam Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were his five brothers and stepbrothers.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
