Mike Gribbins
1964 - 2010
MOREHEAD – Mike Gribbins, age 46, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born May 30, 1964, in Rowan County, Kentucky, son of the late Jim and Clara Markwell Gribbins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Crawford.
Mike is survived by his wife, Shelly Cornett Gribbins; four sons, Joey Gribbins, Brad Perry. Matt Gribbins, and Justin Perry, all of Clearfield, Kentucky; two daughters, Tierra Gribbins Blevins and her husband Brady of Morehead, Kentucky, and Tiffany Gribbins of Clearfield, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Alexandria Brooke Blevins; one sister, Shirley Cornett and husband Travis of Morehead, Kentucky.
Other survivors include nieces: Stephanie Adams and husband Tim, Melinda Johnson and husband Mike; great nieces, Sharon Keeton and husband David, Brooklyn Keeton, Whitney Johnson, Brittany Adams, Kristi, Karlee, Kenna, Ashley, and Jaylyn Cornett, Peyton and Makenzie Debord, Molly Kiser, and Morgan Crawford; nephews: Kenny Cornett and wife Lori, Chris (Dino) Cornett, William Crawford and wife Kayla; and great nephews: Chris Cornett, Jr., T. J. Cornett and wife Sherry, and Tyler Crawford, Anthony Johnson, Cody Adams, and Jarett Debord.
Mike was a master electrician for Packs’ Inc. for ten years; enjoyed country music, horseback riding, and farming; and loved his family.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Keeton officiating; burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery in Clearfield.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Adams, Chris (Dino) Cornett, Anthony White, Jake Brown, David Keeton, and William Crawford.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

Kathryn Lynn McCullough
1954-2010
ASHLAND - Kathryn Lynn McCullough, 56, of Corbin, Ky., formerly of Ashland, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, in Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Ky., after a sudden illness. She was born Jan. 10, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, to Dorothy Ree Phillips and the late George Ronald Phillips. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Robert McCullough III; three daughters, Heather Renee Dove, Tiffany Michelle Dove and Sara Louise McCullough; 5 grandchildren, Dru Nicole Ross, Marly Jai Phillips, Travis Riley Hamm, Preston Noelle Terry and Brandon Connor Terry; four sisters, Dottie Phillips, Linda Kazee, Donna Emery and Debra (Mel) Comer; and a brother, Michael (Gaylynn) Phillips.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Jean Phillips.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Garrett Bugg.

Pearl Ingle Netherly
1926 – 2010
MOREHEAD – Pearl Ingle Netherly, age 84, of Rawcel Heights, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
She was born June 21, 1926, at Bluestone in Rowan County, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Harrison and Anna Dewitt Ingle. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Manuel Ingle, and six sisters, Dica Fultz, Hazel Wright, Mae Barnes, Melvina Caudill, Flora Myers, and Lettie Williams.
Her husband, Roy Netherly, passed away on July 2, 1976.
Pearl is survived by two daughters, Oma Louise Eden of Morehead, Kentucky, and Lula Pecco and husband Tony of Hillsboro, Kentucky; one son, Rickie Netherly of Humble, Texas; and one grandson, James Rickie Boggs of Morehead, Kentucky.
Other survivors include two sisters, Alice Scott of Morehead, Kentucky, Lourana Wilcox of Richmond, Kentucky; one brother Carl Ingle of Morehead, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews including special niece and nephew, Clydia and Glenn Hyatt.
Pearl was a homemaker and member of the Ringos Mill Christian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Forest Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Eldridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tom Pecco, Nick Pecco, Rufus Williams, Zach McClurg, Clyde Mabry, Carl Ingle, Jr., Tony Riddle, Ritchie Scott, Chris Williams, and Jeff Scott.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

Pauline Brown Perkins
1939 – 2010
MOREHEAD – Pauline Brown Perkins, age 70, of Caudill Street, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010, at her residence.
She was born November 30, 1939, in Rowan County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Opal and Eva Pearl Wallace Brown. She was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Lee Perkins on June 2 1971; one granddaughter, Savannah Jo Kissick on January 1, 2009; and one brother, Lowell Menzille Brown.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Robert Lee “Bob” Perkins; one daughter, Sandra Sue Hamilton of Morehead, Kentucky; three sons, James Edward Perkins of Clearfield, Kentucky, Phillip Douglas Perkins and wife Kimberley Sue of Clearfield, Kentucky, and Rodney Millard Perkins and wife Brenda of Morehead, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Tierra Brooke Blevins, Justin Blake Hamilton, Makaylyn Anne Perkins and Natalie Briann Perkins; and two great granddaughters, Alexandria Brooke Blevins and Mallorie Jo Hunt.
Other survivors include three brothers, Laverne Brown, Larry Dale Brown, and Virgil Brown, all of Clearfield, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Pauline was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, baking, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was retired from the Rowan County Board of Education and attended the East End Church of God and Bluebank First Church of God.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Fannin and Rev. Herbert D. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Brady Blevins, David Murphy, Mitch Terrell, Troy Perkins, Lowell Brown, David Perkins, Justin Hamilton, and Randy Hamilton.
Honorary pallbearers: Sam Kissick and Clineon Mullins.
Visitation is after 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
