Feb. 20, 2012 — Raymond Lambert, 69, of Morehead, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center at Lexington.
Raymond was the son of the late Willie and Edna Hanshaw Lambert. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Roy Lambert and Wilburn Lambert.
Raymond was a Navy Veteran that served during the Cuban Missile Crisis on a nuclear submarine. Raymond retired from CSX Railroad.
He is survived by brothers, Louie (Barbara) Lambert of Morehead, John (Marcella) Lambert of Olive Hill, William Lambert of Elliott County and sisters Alice (Woody) Whisman of Athens, Tennessee, Betty (Ralph) Hartsoe of Plymouth, Michigan, Dazel (Harold) Johnson of Casco, Michigan, Ottie (Bill) Mitchell of Sarasota, Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Private services were observed by the Lambert Family at LEWIS & FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME at Sandy Hook. Burial was in the Lambert Family Cemetery.
