John Junior Trent
1944 – 2012
John Junior Trent, 67, of Nicholasville, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 in the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Facility in Edgewood.
He was born on December 28, 1944 in Wollum, a son of the late John and Ellen White Trent.
Mr. Trent was a retired truck driver for Gene White Lumber Company. He was a member of the Man O War Church of God and enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising a garden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Caudill Trent, who passed away on June 22, 2009, one son, Bobby Trent, one brother, Tye Trent and four sisters, Connie Hobbs, Thelma Wallace, Grace McKinney and Esther Brock.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony (Mary) Trent and Derrick Trent both of Nicholasville, one daughter, Michelle Trent of Nicholasville, three brothers, Curtis (Peggy) Trent of London, Nathan (Mary Jane) Trent of Blufton, South Carolina and Doyle (Barbara) Trent of Heidrick, three sisters, Jean (Jack) Jarrett of Cheraw, South Carolina, Barbara (Ezekial) Foster of Girdler and Carolyn (David) Wombles of Manchester, seven grandchildren, Justin Trent, Austin Trent, Haley Trent, Autumn Trent, Riley Trent, Alexis Trent and Elizabeth Trent and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 18, in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Brother Jim Porter officiating.
Burial was in the Cranston Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Gulley, Jonathan Gulley, Willis Glover, Trevor Glover and David Harris.
