Jean Elnora Garrison Samuels
1959 – 2012
Jean Elnora Garrison Samuels, 52, of Meadowlands Drive, Morehead, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born October 21, 1959, in Middleville, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late James and Sonja Tucker Garrison. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dustin Forbes, in 2003.
Jean is survived by her husband, Curtis “Curt” Samuels, whom she married for time and all eternity on December 28, 1985; three daughters, Kisber Louise Samuels of San Antiono, Texas; Michael Elizabeth Jean Boggs and husband Jon Wesley Boggs of Morehead, Mahleah Katheryn Samuels, at home; two sons, Denys Garrison Samuels and Bevan Isaiah Samuels, both at home; one sister, Tammy Jolley of Washington State; one brother, Jim Garrison of Florida and three grandchildren.
Jean was a former employee of University Cinema and Morehead Cinema. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Owingsville Ward in Owingsville.
Graveside services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Brown Cemetery with Bishop Seth J. Green officiating.
Pallbearers will be Denys Samuels, Bevan Samuels, Curt Samuels, Jon Boggs, Mark Samuels and Michael Boggs.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
